Hungarian Written Embroidery Level II, Nov. 2
Hungarian Written Embroidery Level II, Nov. 2
2-hour, live, online workshop: Learn additional stitches used in Hungarian written embroidery to widen your stitch vocabulary and create more elaborate designs.
We'll begin with a review of the foundation stitch from the Level I class. We'll cover several stitches, including the lace stitch, to embellish the floral patterns and consider different ways of finishing a piece, including different edging techniques. Needle Lace beautifully decorates the edges of pillowcases and tablecloths throughout Transylvania. These techniques will add beauty and finish to all of your personal projects. Ideal for students who have taken Level I or advanced embroiderers.
We’ll meet online using Zoom.
