Stitch a modern floral pattern on a pair of DIY espadrilles or apply the patterns to whatever you like.

The pdf was part of the AHS Artist’s Series in June-July 2020. You can purchase a kit with or without fabric HERE or gather espadrille materials separately on your own. Read this to figure out which kit to buy.

For the embroidery you’ll need fabric (lightweight cotton canvas shown in photos), a water-soluble embroidery pen (or use your favorite transfer method), two skeins of DMC 25 style floss in the colors of your choice (I chose a deep red and antique blue or all black). Unless you are buying a kit with fabric, make sure to also have some cotton to use as the shoe lining (black used in my sample pair).
