Inspiration from Kraków

Here’s a round-up of traditional women’s clothing from Kraków, Poland. Kraków has always been the cultural center of the country. The vibrant images below represent several districts in the west. By the end of the 18th-century styles from the area became fully formed. They have since become emblematic of the country.
I hope that the images will provoke new ideas for creating embroidery or art; and adding floral patterns and layers to your wardrobe!
