Gather and Stitch Retreat - TERMS and CONDITIONS
Accommodations in a renovated 1892 farmhouse.
Six participants may share 3 bedrooms (2 double beds/room). Three rooms (called “single”) have one double bed suitable for one person, or a couple. Each room has its own bathroom. ThreadWritten will match you up unless you indicate a traveling companion on your registration form.
Three meals per day.
Three meals per day are included with the exception of lunch during free time in Viana do Castelo. Breakfast will always be taken at the house. Lunches and dinners will be a mix of restaurants in nearby cities with meals at the house in conjunction with workshops.
ThreadWritten provides all participants transportation to and from Lisbon and the retreat guest house and all activities during the week. Even if the participant is not taking part in an event, they are welcome to travel with the group. If the participant would like to visit another location or attraction than the group, they will be responsible for their own transportation.
Embroidery thread, needles, fabric and other materials for workshops will be included. Feel free to bring your favorite supplies including embroidery hoops (They don’t use them in Portugal!), and your own project in progress for travel or time on your own. If you usually use a magnifier or special light, please consider bringing packable versions with you (I can make recommendations if needed). We will have some stitching time in the evening.
What’s Not Included

ThreadWritten does not recommend any specific transportation provider, and cannot be held responsible for any delays encountered during your travel, even if they cause you to miss part or all of your stay. No refund will be given for any portion of ThreadWritten services missed due to travel interruptions or delays. ThreadWritten requires that all of our guests purchase travel insurance.
We will have some light refreshments available at the house however any other additional food consumed outside of the group meals is the participant’s responsibility.
